Asbestos Demolition Survey

Our trained asbestos surveyor recommended an Asbestos Demolition Survey be completed to find any asbestos contained in the property. This would be a destructive survey which involved damage to the building in order to locate suspected asbestos.

• Desktop survey carried out and risk assessment (Pre-site Survey)
• Agree a date and time with the client for the survey to be completed
• Prep and Provide Survey Plan to the Client
• Meet client at the Nottinghamshire property
• Surveyors walk round to familiarise themselves with the layout
• Survey starts with expert asbestos surveyors inspecting all parts of the property
• Samples removed for laboratory testing
• Make safe any areas which have been sampled
• Debrief with the client and take samples to UKAS Accredited Laboratory
• Trained surveyor to write up survey report and implement sample results , provide recommendations on any asbestos identified to the client within the report.

Asbestos was found to be contained within the floor tiles of the kitchen and bathroom. The demolition company had the information needed so safe asbestos removal could be completed before demolition started.
