Nightclub Asbestos Survey

The expert asbestos surveyor recommended a partial asbestos refurbishment survey be completed on the areas where asbestos is likely to be disturbed during installation.

• Desktop survey carried out and risk assessment (Pre-site Survey)
• Agree a date and time with the client for the survey to be completed
• Prep and Provide Survey Plan to the Client
• Meet client at the Grantham property
• Surveyors walk round to familiarise themselves with the layout
• Survey starts with expert asbestos surveyors inspecting all parts of the property
• Samples removed for laboratory testing
• Make safe any areas which have been sampled
• Debrief with the client and take samples to UKAS Accredited Laboratory
• Trained surveyor to write up survey report and implement sample results , provide recommendations on any asbestos identified to the client within the report.

The property did not need a survey completing on the whole property because 80% of it would not be affected by the installation work. This solution means that the client has a more cost effective survey which concentrated on the areas of importance
